Never, Ever Give Up On Yourself.

Could you watch this and recharge your batteries? We are all involved in personal struggles. They may be related to our health, first job, business, exams, finances, parenting or relationships.

Many times, we may feel like giving up. It may feel like the struggle is too much, too intense, and the odds are against us. That is when we have to dig deep. It is easy to say, "Dig deep," but much harder to do it in the moment.

This gentleman fought the odds when the odds were really against him. He dug deep and fought the odds when others had written him off. People mocked his many attempts to improve his circumstances. Medical advisors told him he would never walk, he was given a wheel chair. He felt invisible.

Never let anyone else dictate your circumstances. Never accept your lot.

It will not be easy, but we must fight to be the best version of ourselves daily.

He tied many yoga teachers who all refused to take him as a client. Until he found one person who believed in him This is so critical when we are fighting the odds. We all need just one person who believes in us.

That one person could be you. You could be the person who believes I the someone who is struggling. You have the ability to inspire, to lift and sustain someone who has lost their way. During my life I have been lucky enough to have the investment from someone who believed in me, when I had stopped believing in me. Mrs Paterson my maths teacher, Jenny Flashman a friends mum who took me to amatuer dramatics to boost my confidence, Frank Blamey who believed in me when there were clouds over my head, Will my fitness coach who helped me complete the London Marathon in 2007. In fact I have been so lucky my list is very long. But not everyone will be so lucky. So, today and everyday is our chance to take the time to believe in the person stood alongside you, sat in front of you needing that moment of belief.

Who will you believe in today?

How do you motivate yourself to dig deep and fight the odds?

Have you had the chance to thank the people who believed in you?
